Adrian Knowles

Adrian Knowles: 20 seconds of courage

In a world where silence is often seen as the safer choice, mustering 20 seconds of courage and speaking up, at work or at home, can seem daunting. The last golden oldie

The last remaining historic home on Audrey Rd, in Auckland's upscale Milford area, is up for sale, marking an end to the old charm amid modern developments. Owned by David Gaze, CEO of Gaze Commercial, the 100-year-old property is set for redevelopment, reflecting the high value of land near the beach and the demand for contemporary living spaces. With approved plans for both townhouses and apartments, the site offers potential buyers a blend of luxury and prime location, with tenders closing on May 16, 2024. More here.

What’s in a word?

Today is officially Wordsmith Day and, needless to say, it’s one pretty close to our hearts. But words are just as important in real estate. They have the power to generate interest in a property, encourage a bid at auction, get a deal sealed and market you and your brand to your next client. One word that sticks in Elite Agent Editor, Kylie Dulhunty’s mind is ‘Pulchritudinous’. She once found it in a listing description and instantly knew it would send buyers running for the dictionary and, potentially, for the hills. If you want to entice rather than baffle potential buyers with your listing prose, Kylie shares her tips here.
