Good Morning from Elite Agent
Are you a PM looking to have more meaningful conversations with your clients about their investments? What about potential landlords who need a property manager that’s more like an investment advisor? Well, Lunch & Learn: PM Investment Day has you covered. The one-day event, from 10am until 2.30pm on June 25, at Kew Golf Club, will provide valuable insights for PMs, directors and BDMs on property investment, taxation, and management strategies.
Hosted by Mitchell PT, Managing Director Hayley Mitchell says the idea behind the training event is two-fold. “We want to empower Property Manager’s with more knowledge in all aspects of property investment so they can have more meaningful conversations with their clients as well as to give PM’s more confidence to look at investing to create their own wealth for the future,” she says. Bookings close at 5pm on Friday, June 21. More info and book here.

When will the cut come?
Economic and property experts have unanimously tipped the RBA will keep the cash rate on hold at today’s meeting, but almost one-in-five now say a rate cut won’t come before mid next year. Finder’s latest RBA Cash Rate Survey showed 18 per cent of experts think a rate cut is off the cards until July 2025, while 38 per cent tipped early next year and 44 per cent remain confident of a cut before the end of 2024. Crossing the ditch for luxury
New sales data shows a slump in New Zealand's luxury housing market, with many wealthy Kiwis relocating to Australia. Caleb Paterson of Paterson Luxury noted that some of his clients have sold their properties to retire in Australia, moving approximately $50 million in equity and businesses across the ditch. Despite the downturn, experts like Ollie Wall observe that discerning buyers are taking advantage of the less pressured market, with wealthy expats returning to New Zealand for its appealing lifestyle. At Waterloo, Napoleon did surrender
On this day in 1815, Napoleon faced his ultimate defeat at the Battle of Waterloo, marking the end of his reign and reshaping European history. This monumental clash inspired ABBA's famous song Waterloo, which metaphorically parallels the personal triumphs and downfalls akin to Napoleon's fate. The song's catchy tune and historical reference continue to resonate, celebrating victory in the face of overwhelming odds. And one agent who has overcome great odds to forge great success is PRD Hunter Valley agent Cath Cattell. More here.
