The latest PropTrack Origin Australian Home Energy Report has revealed homebuyers are increasingly looking for energy efficient features in the homes they purchase. But it seems not all listing descriptions mention the highly-sought features. According to the results of our snap poll from Movers + Shakers, our new Sunday newsletter (subscribe here), only 41 per cent of Elite Agent readers include green features in listing descriptions ‘all the time’. Some 43 per cent of you include them ‘sometimes’, while 7 per cent say you include them ‘if they are readily available’. And 9 per cent of readers ‘never’ include energy efficient features in their listing descriptions.

PRD Real Estate has dropped its annual list of the most affordable regions in the country, with the Mackay LGA topping the list this year. Despite the weighted average capital city Australian median house price climbing 5.3 per cent in the past 12 months, to $1.005M, the 10 LGAs named in the report, which also includes Toowoomba and Dubbo, all have a median house price under $600,000.
