According to the Domain Rent Report, Perth and Adelaide have the tightest markets, with a vacancy rate of just 0.3 per cent. Meanwhile, Darwin has the least competition, with a vacancy rate of 1.3 per cent. But, there could be green shoots starting to appear in the rental market, and Domain Chief of Research and Economics, Dr Nicola Powell, explains why here.

Tax shift for housing lift
The REIV has called on the State Government to review its property taxes to help incentivise investors to stay in the rental market. World’s oldest dog
A cattle dog called Bluey, from the Victorian town of Rochester, has had his Guinness World Record as the world’s oldest dog returned. Bluey, who died in 1939 at the age of 29, held the record until February 2023, when a purebred Rafeiro do Alentejo from Conqueiros in Portugal named Bobi took the title, after surviving for a record 31 years and 165 days. But, after suspicions were raised about Bobi's credentials and his age could not be 100 per cent verified, the title has been returned to Bluey. And someone who knows a thing or two about teaching all dogs new tricks is Tony Rowe, who shares his tips on learning, growing and improving performance here.
