The Brief together with AI Powered Agents

Good Morning from Elite Agent

A long held real estate belief is that kitchens, and to a lesser extent, bathrooms, sell houses. But does it matter what colours feature in those rooms? According to this year’s Architectural Digest Colour Trend Report, the days of hospital-like all white are long gone and greens, blues and browns are right on trend, particularly if used in fixtures and appliances. All this means our resident interior designer, Justine Wilson, was exactly right when she said earthy and nature-inspired tones, such as deep browns and rich rusts were the ideal hues to warm a home, and buyers’ appetites, this winter.

Today we are covering:

  • HTWs Month In Review

  • The appraisal playbook

  • Champion needed for housing crisis

  • Cotton On owners sell beachside luxury

  • And much more!

Let's get to work 🚀

Interest rates might be at the highest level in years, but they’ve had little impact on property prices. According to Herron Todd White, record population growth and low supply continue to trump the cost-of-living crisis. Values are softer in some parts of Sydney and Melbourne, but there’s no stopping the smaller capital cities of Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth.

National Lipstick Day

Whether it is seductively adding more pull to a pout, or scrawling a meaningful message on a mirror, lipstick has historically refused to be ignored.
