Winx foal gallops to record sale

The first foal from champion mare Winx has fetched a record $10M at auction, with Winx part-owner Debbie Kepitis and and her Woppitt Bloodstock buying the 18-month-old filly. The sale smashes previous thoroughbred yearling records in Australia and is double the $5 million paid for Black Caviar’s half-brother in 2013. And one agent that knows all about smashing records of his own is Marshall White Stonnington Director Marcus Chiminello who, in 2022, set two state records for the highest residential sales price in Victoria, just a week apart.
