The trigger is a widening gap agents feel daily – 22 pieces of legislation and 449 changes this year to master, against less than a week of formal education to enter the profession, which REINSW links to an 80 per cent first-year dropout rate. |

DEPT OF DISPATCHES  REA Group takes $110M hit exiting IndiaREA Group is walking away from direct ownership of Housing.com in India, selling to Aurum PropTech for shares worth about $68 million – a $110 million loss on the books. In return, REA's Indian arm lifts its Aurum stake to 24.9 per cent, becoming a passive investor rather than an operator. Cameron McIntyre says Aurum is "well placed to build on the strong foundations" the team built. The deal needs Aurum shareholder approval and should close by Q1 FY27. |

And the answer is … False. The width is right – Keret House in Warsaw measures just 92 centimetres at its narrowest and 152 centimetres at its widest – but it is not legally classified as a residential dwelling. Because it doesn't meet Poland's minimum building code requirements for a habitable space, it's officially registered as an art installation, not a house. Israeli architect Etgar Keret has stayed in it, and it hosts visiting writers and artists, but on paper it's sculpture, not shelter.
