Good Morning from Elite Agent
We recently brought you some insights on what outdoor features homebuyers in the US were prepared to pay more for, with an outdoor TV attracting a 3.1 per cent price premium. But, according to Elite Agent readers, buyers in Australia much prefer an outdoor living area. According to the results of our snap poll from Movers + Shakers, our new Sunday newsletter (subscribe here), 56 per cent of you said buyers would pay more for an outdoor living room, followed by 24 per cent of readers indicating buyers would pay a premium for an outdoor kitchen or pizza oven. This was followed by swimming pools (16 per cent) and a spa bath (four per cent). Interestingly, no Elite Agent readers said buyers would pay more for an outdoor TV.

Wait… isn’t that Bluey’s house?
No, you’re not seeing things, Australia’s favourite blue heeler clan have listed their home on Domain. That’s right, the colourful Queenslander Bluey shares with her dad Bandit, mum Chilli and sister Bingo, is up for grabs (on the TV show, not for real life). The listing description even describes it as, “A quaint, animated family home nestled in an undisclosed Brisbane location, that could be in Red Hill or The Gap (we’ll never tell), with mid-century design aesthetics offset by whimsical touches”. The listing coincides with a storyline that follows the family of cattle dogs on a house-hunting journey in an episode, called The Sign, which will air this Sunday on ABC TV. Our only question is, how much do you think the animated family home is worth?
Wishing you a productive day
