Good Morning from Elite Agent

Last week, we brought you a story on Millennials (born 1981-1996) emerging as the most active group of property investors in the country. According to the CommBank figures, 46 per cent of the bank’s new property investors in 2023 were Millennials. So we wanted to compare them with our own figures, and this tells a pretty interesting story.

According to Elite Agent readers, it’s Generation X (born between 1965-1980) that is the most prevalent investor group in their markets. The results of our snap poll from Movers + Shakers, our new Sunday newsletter (subscribe here), showed 65 per cent said Gen X was the most active group, followed by Millennials (19 per cent) and Baby Boomers (17 per cent).

Today, we are also covering:

  • An investment so good it should be illegal

  • How to triple your business

  • Five ways to complete the stress cycle

  • The best Aussie companies to work for

  • And much more!

Selling future potential, faster

There's a PropTech startup based in Montréal called Landerz that's shaking things up in the world of land transactions. They've developed a platform that brings transparency to all the important environmental and economic data about land plots, making it much easier for sellers, brokers, and developers to navigate the process and imagine the potential of what ‘could be’. Nadine Fournier, the founder of Landerz, says they're bringing a fresh perspective to an industry that's been stuck in the '90s. Find out more about how they are accelerating deals here.

Anything else?

Sweating more than just auctions

Here’s a day to celebrate that we know will resonate with a lot of you - National Exercise Day. Whether you’re part of the 5am Club or leave your workout until a little later in the day, we know many real estate professionals don’t just like to sweat it out on auction day, but in the gym too. And according to the Mayo Clinic, adults should aim to get about 150 minutes of aerobic exercise per week. Not only does it reduce the risk of illnesses such as heart disease and stroke, it also helps recharge you mentally.
