Good Morning from Elite Agent
Almost half (43.59 per cent) of Elite Agent readers would offer a three month, fee-free period to secure a new management. That’s according to the results of our snap poll from Movers + Shakers, our new weekly, Sunday newsletter, which is jam-packed full of the latest industry appointments, acquisitions, expansions and more. The poll also revealed just over 30 per cent of you don’t believe in discounting, while 25 per cent weren’t too sure and would have to assess the cost of acquisition.
There will be a new poll in this week’s edition of Movers + Shakers this Sunday, so subscribe here, and whitelist the email address [email protected], so you don’t miss a thing. Every vote in one of our polls also counts towards an entry into our ‘Win a ticket to Elite Retreat’ competition, which will be drawn on June 30 (one vote = one entry, max of one entry per week).

Forget rice: Apple’s dry advice
Have you ever heard that you can revive a wet mobile phone by popping it in a container of uncooked rice? We have (not that we’ve tried it). But now Apple has come out and said the rice hack is a big no-no as it could clog and damage your phone. Instead, you’re supposed to tap the phone against your hand to get the water out, dry it off with a towel and wait a while before turning it on again. Then you’ll need to pray that it works and, if it does, you can use Darren Krakowiak’s 10 tips to turn your mobile into a time saver at work. Find them here.
