Good Morning from Elite Agent
Sixty-eight per cent of Elite Agent readers weren’t happy with the Federal Budget’s housing package, lamenting that we need more to solve the housing crisis. That’s according to the results of our snap poll from Movers + Shakers, which lands in your inbox every Sunday jam-packed full of the latest industry appointments, acquisitions, expansions and more. The poll also revealed 22 per cent of you would like to see more money for health and mental health, while 10 per cent would like more for climate change.
PS - There will be a new poll in this week’s edition of Movers + Shakers this Sunday, so subscribe here, and whitelist the email address [email protected], so you don’t miss a thing. Every vote in one of our polls also counts towards an entry into our ‘Win a ticket to Elite Retreat’ competition, which will be drawn on June 30 (one vote = one entry, max of one entry per week).

Nature’s healing drives real estate trend
Luxury wellness retreats are booming post-pandemic, focusing on reconnecting guests with nature to combat rising trauma symptoms, according to clinical psychologist Dr Bev Walpole. New retreats like Callisto Farm in New York and Broadlawn Farm in Ohio offer immersive, back-to-the-land experiences with activities such as gardening, fishing, and sustainable farming. This trend is reshaping real estate, driving demand for multi-acre rural properties designed to blend high-end accommodations with the healing benefits of nature. More here.

Terracotta trumps at Chelsea
Speaking of sustainability - A garden constructed with 3D-printed terracotta bricks has won the inaugural green medal at the Chelsea Flower Show for its outstanding environmental sustainability. Designed by Giulio Giorgi without using concrete or power tools, the garden showcased innovative low-carbon materials and sustainable practices. Dame Judi Dench, who received a seedling from the Sycamore Gap tree at the event, praised the garden's eco-friendly approach, highlighting its potential as an educational facility at RHS Garden Wisley in Surrey.
