Tourist hotspots drive market recovery

The Spanish real estate market is showing steady recovery, particularly in tourist hotspots along the Mediterranean Coast and the Balearic and Canary Islands, where prices surged by 0.9 per cent and 0.7 per cent in June, respectively. According to Tinsa's latest IMIE report, overall housing prices in Spain rose 0.5 per cent in June, with a year-on-year increase of 3.2 per cent, though prices remain 17.4 per cent below the 2007 peak. Despite conservative monetary policies, the market benefits from the European Central Bank's recent rate cuts, bolstering consumer confidence and demand, especially in high-tourist areas.

The Olympics may have wrapped up but there’s still one Aussie athlete’s name on everyone’s lips the world over - Rachael ‘RayGunn’ Gunn. The breakdancers has gone viral, with clips of her unique dancing style and memes flooding social media. But all controversy aside, media impact expert Jonathan Creek says RayGun has a marketing message everyone should hear. “Ray has the attention of the world right now and attention when handled right is a more valuable commodity than gold,” he notes in a social media post of his own. Jonathan says if RayGun can block out the noise, and embrace the attention in a positive way, she will “bank more than 99 per cent of athletes on the Australian team”.
