Inflation remained unchanged at 3.4 per cent in February, but experts say the RBA will still offer some “interest rate relief” later this year. At the moment, RBA Governor Michele Bullock is no doubt keeping a close eye on housing costs, with surging rents, which rose 7.6 per cent in the past 12 months, stoking inflation. More here.

Today is officially International Fact-Checking Day, an occasion that highlights just how important the small details can sometimes be. One area where fact-checking is super important is journalism - false information has played a role in so many events around the world, from elections to COVID-19 to reporting on wars. You might not be a journalist, but there’s a role for everyone in real estate to play in making sure consumers hear what they need to: 1) You can take back the narrative from the mainstream media in your local area, and 2) be careful not to inadvertently share misinformation.
